I use it as well. I always have my phone on me so the notifications are fantastic. I keep notes on the individual batches in it too. I love having all the info I need right there.

Thank you. I'm really hoping! i stagger hatch and its a nice bator so I keep my best eggs in it. They ranged from day 7 to day 15. Ahhhh! I pulled 40 quitters out of it last night. Several maybes got to stay.

I found that my 2 year old turned off my main bator the other day. The eggs were cold when I figured it out and I have no idea how long they were like that. It's now a waiting game to find out if I caught it quick enough! 70+ eggs hanging in the balance

Setting 14 barred rocks today! One came with a little crack in the shell so I put wax on it and we will see how it does. Also will set whatever silkie eggs the girls give me today. One girl hasn't made friends with my roo yet so I may get a clear but we will see.

What breed did you order?

I started using a Lyon roll x2 and the incubation tips on a breeders page. I went from hatching maybe one or two out of a dozen to hatching about 50% on average. I think I will have to try turkeys next. Just have to hatch some eggs to make room

I will be setting silkies and barred rocks. I've never hatched turkeys. Are they fairly easy? I've hatched seramas, which are difficult, and now I'm attempting call ducks. They're supposed to be difficult as well.

That's the one I should probably have to keep my hatching under control! I would like to know how it does for you. I may get one to use for hatching my own hens eggs when they start laying. I'm going to have a hard time not setting every egg I get for awhile
