Totally appreciate your open-minded view. I have very religious family members and I've certainly had a time in my life where I too was into it. But I never felt preachy or recruity, I kept it to myself. Fast forward to today, one of my family members literally has his preaching falling out of...
It's actually harder for me to write this list than I thought because I have "favorite looking," "favorite laying," and "favorite personality" and so different breeds in each catagory of favorite. But in thinking about which breed checks all 3 boxes I think it's is Creme Legbar and Black Copper...
X3, For me I just don't spend any amount of time focusing on how "non-religious" I am nor do I feel compelled to make that a part of everything I do or say. So on the flip, I feel annoyed when any given subject has a person's particular faith unnecessarily thrown into it, and it makes me wonder...
It's hard to get Moose in other position too. He's certainly got the Ragdoll fluff as hard as it is to imagine him being abandoned! They're not exactly easy to come by or cheap. Have you taken him to the vet to get an estimate on age? Whatever he is ENJOY!! Sounds like he was meant to find you...
Good point, I just saw his face but what do his legs look like? I'm sure you're better judge than me. And what a sweet story though I'm sorry for your kitty loss, I know how hard that is. This orange kitty just showed up in our yard and we're on a River with nothing but woods, no telling where...
Oh my he's gorgeous!! The blue eyes definitely narrow down breed! Balinese, Burman, or Himalayan or Ragdoll mix would my guess. His coloring is called Seal Point. Lucky you to have an expensive cat just adopt you!!! This is my Moose (Ragdoll, mitted Seal Point, Lynx) and then my Chloe (Himalayan...
I've worked pretty hard at replacing my Costco shopping habit with local and extreme local (my garden,) but there is one Costco must have that I feel compelled to share with the world: Pre-cooked bacon. I call it the Costco Yayo. It's only 45calories/slice. Its SO easy, nuke 1minute for crispy...
I concur with all that you said here. In fact I could write the same paragraph but in the middle it would say that I went to Catholic HS and it was because they would not support healthy debate, challenges and questions, that I got in trouble and grew out of it. My Dad who was Vice Chancellor at...
I got the recipe the first time off Pinterest. It's under White Bean, Sausage, Spinach Soup. I toss in carrots and potato's too and I use Spicy V-8 and chicken broth as the base with lot's of garlic. My kids always preferred the ham and bacon way for sure!
Oh the pickle PTSD this brings to me.... You know "Frickles," how they are usually krinkle cut or whatever it's called.... But some places now have fried pickle spears.... I burned the living shit out of my mouth with one at restaurant in Hawaii. It hurt!!!!!
That was me for many years where I was always building something or taking 3 times the amount of time I now spend on daily chores. My chicken sitch is so awesomely efficient and bomber now that I have alot of extra time on my hands and I'd rather exchange info. with people who have similar lives...
Or if you put a more positive, cup half full spin on it, maybe it's gets the attention of people like myself who wouldn't participate in the clearly religious threads. You can see by how long I've been on here that I don't really just blabber all day but maybe I'll find interesting information...
I agree with this. I went to the end of one of the very long specific threads, don't even remember which one but by the time they have 1000 pages, if you say something relative to the title, it's a "plop," and get's skipped over, it's just funny to me.
