I understand. But I also know Becky and that she's been looking forward to learn how to butcher for a long time. What makes one person happy doesn't necessarily make another person happy.

Just keep scrolling. Butchering is a very large part of raising chickens for a lot of people. Obviously not for you, but I'm not sure it warranted a comment saying it made you sad.
