No, I have not tried any egg preserving methods yet.

Yesterday was a 10/10 day! Rainy and all LOL And baby girl Rosa seems to be doing much better, she started laying again yesterday, but I'm going to discard her eggs for now.

Please let us know how that works out. Its good to have various ways to preserve eggs.

My red sexlinks/hybrids do that. What seemed to help is checking for eggs constantly throughout the day for a week, as well as placing fake eggs in the nests. Now it rarely happens (to my knowledge), mostly if a hen lays somewhere outside instead of in the nests.

8 eggs from 10 ladies. And believe it or not, my 5 month old cockerel tried to sit on an egg. I hope thats normal youngin activities. :idunno Pepper is adorable. Lol
