I had a hen peck me bad trying to get the eggs under her! Whenever I have a hen not wanting to give it up I usually just do a shhhh sound and pet her and all's good. This one screamed at me and got me good.

Yes they get protective of their nests… this one wants me to stop taking eggs… she is going to be super happy when I give her chicks to care for… I have live order coming soon.
