    I have a question what color chicks if male is red range and hen is faulb fee?? if fee removes red or dilute it but then I read a study that said range removes the dark spots so will it just produce white birds??

    Egg color

    I have jumbo wild quail... they are six weeks old and one layer egg today... the inside of the egg is blue instead of cream... is that normal? Or does the layer carry celadon ? The outside was normal color cream with brown spots

    Leg problem broken?

    I have a two week old quail that is showing signs of injury. It holds its leg out in front bares a little weight on it and hops.... is it a broken leg? Can splay leg show up at two weeks? It hatched fine and didn’t show any signs of leg problems until today... is it a lost cause or can it be...

    First hatch problems

    I purchased 25 corturnix eggs shipped ...3 were broken on arrival 3 were not fertile.... 15 hatched 1 died early in development... two were fully developed had beak under wing but died one wasn’t to that stage yet but was fully formed..... wondering if due to hot or cold spots in incubator...

    Help.. quail

    I ended up with three hens and two Roos but neither roo is mating with the hens.... all the eggs are infertile so I removed both males and put in separate cage one of the Roos seems interested in the hens in nearby cage how long should I keep separated?

    Male or female quail?

    I was given several quail supposedly 4 hens and a roo but not sure if the roo is actually a roo? Need more experienced person input plz... there is no mating taking place no crowing this is why I wonder... birds are prob around a year old.... both photos same bird
