Hey guys. I noticed one of my quail acting strange today. Went out to check and one was dead and one is sitting on its but habing trouble walking. It just flaps around and rolls around? Has anybody seen this? What could cause this? TIA!

I gave them 2 to three days after hatch date just to be sure. Were they shipped? My first two batches were great. Like 70 to 80 % hatch rate. My last batch was only about 50%.

Welcome to the flock!! I believe they should have signs posted everywhere when it is chick season warning about the possibility of addiction! I went into my local TSC for heat lamps and walked out with 4 little ducklings! Its really terrible! Enjoy!

Ya idk I read somewhere about needing water to keep their nasil membranes moist or something. I always keep their food close to water for sure! Wow I never even new that they would try to mate with chickens! I guess I will keep them separate!

Sorry i shouls have worded that differently. The chicks that hatched did not die. It was the chicks that pipped the eggs and never hatched that died. One was alive and i opened the egg to get him out but he was weel and died a few hours later. The humidity during incubation is around 40 and...
