I got one for my birthday, I constructed a cabinet, and I lined it with Styrofoam insulation. I mounted it at the top of the incubator, and it had great airflow. I opted for the fan 225 watt version. I put in 2 test eggs, and both have developed until hatch. My review might change if the hatch does not go well. I put in a few thermometers, and they all read the same. There was only a .2 degree different from top to bottom.

I think this is a great incubator, I ask miller for a replacement part, and they sent me the part, and a diagram on heat in the incubator. I would give this incubator 4.5 stars, because when my chicks hatched they hatched a day early, and only five out of 9 hatched. This is a big step up from my 1602n

This incubator is not trash. But it is not great for the money. I would much rather buy a little giant for the price. On my first hatch one of the chicks bumped the wire the keeps the fan on, and the fan turned off, and temperature dropped to 85 degrees. I had the same problem with all of my hatches except the ones that I did with quail. I also had a problem with mold growing in the incubator below the water trays, and below the incubator because the incubator has holes on the bottom, and water leaked down out of the trays and went below the incubator, witch then mold began to grow underneath of it. I got the model that had the automatic egg turner, and the egg turner made the loud crackling sound.

Just got mine, works great, keeps a pretty steady temperature. I set chicken eggs into the incubator, with the little giant egg turner, hoping for a good hatch. I gave it four stars because it is a great incubator for the money. It has a digital thermostat, and a fan that speeds up and slows down when it needs to. The only few things that I can complain about are, the incubator is a little bit small for the Little giant egg turner, (But it still fits) and the fan makes a little wine sound. Overall a great product for the price.
