The concept of time is a biological survival skill. If we weren't so used to cheating with clocks, we would learn the skill well. Even smaller birds have the sense. It is good to know when a good time of day it is good to eat and not be eaten.

Thanks. I'm not certain how they got it. We got three new hens a while back, but right before that one died of what I thought was an impacted crop, and another started an occasional sneeze/cough thing. Plus the three new hens, are doing better than the others by far. Our little Rhodebar...
