The fish eating begins
Whether they are alive or dead, fish are one of the best sources of protein! My chickens especially love it when their alive though but it usually doesn't matter either way. Just fish that are the size of perch and smaller. What I do is give them live fish in a bowl filled with water and then watch them peck them out of the water and fight over it. This gives them something to hunt for if they get bored and it's fun to watch them fight over them. It's a great snack that they'll love!! Also I caught my fish near a river with a casting net.
