Outstanding! I am trying caponizing for the first time this year. So far, I have lost one which I think now may have been a hen. The other two are doing just fine. I really appreciate your attention to the tools. So far I have three incomplete kits and no tweezers in any of them. Its hard to find a good list of the tools needed. Thanks.

Thank you! I noticed it seems there is no "right" set, people tend to use what tools works for them. For me, the curved tweezers are easiest to handle and get the whole "bean" in one shot, and are less risky to the other organs. I'd recommend you continue to try various techniques and see what works best for you ☺️ good luck, and don't give up! It's a rewarding experience to bring back a lost art.

Extremely nice! It is one of the best hoop houses I have found on BYC. I hope to incorporate many of the ideas into my hoop house/run/tractor.

Great article on use of Black Jack. I plan to do the same thing. Are you still satisfied with its performance blackdog043?

My Thanks to TimM for a great design. I built this a few years ago, added wheels and moved it as a tractor. I had to get rid of my chickens and then sold every thing. Well now I can have them again and will be using this design again, with some changes, to build my new chicken house.
