My buff laced polish chick recently turned 4 weeks a couple of days ago on the first (9/1/2020). It's my first time raising a polish, are they old enough or do I need to wait longer to sex them similar to silkies?

Ah! Thanks for the info, I'll keep that in mind
You are quite welcome! Enjoy your little quirky Polish chick! I have two 8 week old white capped black Polish pullets currently and they are the sweetest little funny characters.😊

Before I got mine, my daughter wanted them, I never had any intention to get polish chickens, as I had heard that they were flighty and didn’t get along with other chickens. This has been proven to be wrong on both counts and they are some of my favorites!🥰

Looking a little punk rockerish at this point! 😬 Still too early to be sure keep an eye on the crest and this is not 100% but should be more rounded at this age. Here is a photo of one of mine when she was about the same age as yours. There are of course individual variations from chick to chick. Males will also have earlier waddle growth.
😊
