Question .... genetics!

Most of the time the white tail feather is not just a white colored feather ... the shape is changed too ! ... WHY !
The tail feathers of Opal peacocks have a particular shape ... on this peacock (pied Opal ) ... why the white tail feathers do not have the particular shape of Opal peacocks tail feathers?

The pied feathers are shaped like Opal feathers ... but the totally white feathers not!

Another enigma ...
Pied Opal X Pied Opal = 50% pied Opal + 25% dark pied Opal + 25% WHITE.
Some say ...
These 25% white are genetically Opal with the white pattern!
How are the feathers of the tail? .... what form !

Feathers are prisms that reflect light as color, where there is no color is because the structure of the feather is different.
