Sorta, we have had our Chickens for almost a year now.

(2) How many chickens do you have right now?

22 Chickens and 1 Rooster.

(3) What breeds do you have?

Rhode Island Reds, Black Fancy Marons, some special breed my daughter bought that lays light blue tinted eggs, and some neighborhood chickens that roamed into our yard and couldn't find owners for so we adopted.

(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?

I love watching them, hand feeding them, and it's great never having to buy eggs.

(5) What are some of your other hobbies?

I work and take care of our house/yard. And gaming.

(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.

We have two furbaby dogs, boxer and a doberman. We raised 6 kids that have grown and moved out. Bot me and my husband work from home.

(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?

I wanted to find a good forum to learn more about my chickens, gain some knowledge as well as share the knowledge we have learned.

Welcome. You raised 6-kids. That is a very excellent accomplishment in itself. You will enjoy this group. Ask questions as needed and answer them as you can.
