Japanese or OEGB

I know the genders but I cant figure out of if they are Japanese or OEGBs.
One pair of parents were colored similar to mahogany OEGB but the rooster was short legged like Japanese.
These chicks are about 2 months old.

I am not positive but I think they are OEGB as Japanese have different tails....?

I thought the same too. I looked at pictures of mature Japanese bantams and I just cant tell for sure. My husband has put his foot down and says I have to get rid of some chickens. So I was going to part with these and just don't know what they are! I'm tempted to beg him for the little rooster I call Stumpy(not pc I know) and two little girls to go with Stumpy. Stumpy is so cute it just makes me giggle to see him waddling around the yard.

The parent roosters, if it matters, were no where near as aggressive as bantams I have known before. They were very, very docile and never fought or went after people.
