the saddles (if cockerel) should be able to be seen if you part the feathers at the base of the tail. i havent seen a lot of these and just making an observation
Update:today Blake pecked my dogs face when she approached, also its waddles and comb are getting redder and a tiny bit bigger. the spurs are not big the are just a bump. so i don't know what to think about that.
Her tail feathers are a bit suspicious, but that is the only thing that says roo to me. The comb and legs both say pullet and in the pictures I cannot see any saddle feathers. I would have bet money that my Ancona (who is 20 weeks now) was going to be a boy based on the size of her comb. But she is indeed a girl and should lay her first egg any day now
I'd give him/her a few more weeks and see if saddle feathers start coming in or if he starts crowing or if you get an egg.
