Duck with a broken leg.. Help!

Thank goodness ya'll found the reason for the infection, so happy he is looking better already and your doing everything possible to get him over this. Please keep us updated and things happen we just have to go on and continue to do the best we can. I do think I would remove the bands from the rest though.

I didn't, no. Our friend who identifyed the problem bought us some antibiotic ointment what she uses on her chickens but I didn't find out what it's called. It's working though!

That's great, is he able to walk better now?

for some reason the forum wont let me make a new posting... however, I have a 4 week old call duck, long story short, predators got into the coop and ate two of my babies, and hurt one, three are safe.

the one that is hurt, is walking around on one leg and i am newish to ducks and chickens.... I don't know what to do, I am assuming it's leg is broken should I euthanize or is there some small chance that I can tryin and help it?

A vet is best, and not always possible.

Take a look at this. Ducks often can recover from serious injuries, much better than we thought. See if you can determine the exact nature of the injury. Also look for hidden puncture wounds on all of them.
