So Lucy one of my chunky wyandottes had foot surgery a few weeks a go to debride a wound caused by pad dermatitis. She has been inside for nearly 3 weeks and had stitches removed over a week a go. Healing is going well. She is due for another check up next week. She is wearing a donut show (from an old yoga mat) and gauze pads all wrapped up in vet wrap. We let her "play" on soft grass in a puppy play pen for a few hours a day.
However, my gut feeling is that her feet will continue to cause her problems for at least a while yet.
So..... Im looking for a pattern for a neoprene shoe. I cant buy any online as no one ships to New Zealand.
Does anyone have a pattern they are willing to share please?

This is what I have. Back toe goes through the hole and sticks in two places with Velcro — around the ankle and over the top of the foot. I used an extra piece of vetwrap around the ankle cos my girl was good at undoing it. This was used over the top of a vetwrap bandage after stitches for bumblefoot surgery. It mostly protected from getting muddy and wet. I’ve seen similar with articulated toes which might stay on better.
