I’m not a fan of hybridization of pheasants but regardless of my personal opinion, the article could use more organization and explanation with updates on where you went with the project.
There aren't any breeds of pheasant, just color varieties within each species. For example red golden pheasants and peach golden pheasants - these are the same species, just different colors. Lady Amherst pheasants, by contrast, are a totally different species. By crossing the two, you would create a hybrid of two species, not a breed.

A lot people are very against hybrizing pheasants because they want to preserve each species as they are, especially since some species are already very rare in captivity.
