I’ve had my 6 younger chicks (now 12 and 10 weeks) integrating with my 8 bigger girls (about 6 month old) for about a month, and overall it seems to be going well. I still have an area the nuggets can access that the big girls can’t get into, and I’ve just started letting them all out of the covered run into a larger fenced yard with relatively little fuss. Some chasing and a bit of pecking (which sounds awful!) but no blood, and seems pretty minimal. Tonight when I went to make sure the littles were in the coop, and all 6 were up on the roosts. Funny how you can be so proud of chickens. First time with chickens and they are so much fun and make me smile every day!

So thanks for all the helpful posts about look but no touch method. Seems to have gone really well, though it probably helps that all my big girls are still relatively young. I’ve learned so much from this site!
A few pics of my flock. Need some more recent Pics of my littles. They are so wiggly!
