Worms? Egg issues?

Hello. I have 3 adult hens who I have had to treat yearly for roundworms. This has been confirmed by fecal float in the past though I did not take a sample in this year because the only vet around me that will test a sample requires me to bring the chicken in for an exam as well which is quite expensive and it is quite a distance from where I live. I noted one of my chickens was laying soft shell eggs which has been a sign in the past that I need to deworm. I alternate between Safeguard and Valbazen; this time I used Valbazen, 1/2 ml and then repeat in 10 days.

Soft shell eggs continue from that hen and overall decrease in eggs from all 3 which I had noted all winter and is not typical for my girls but I have heard of many others also dealing with decreased egg production. This morning I noted one of the other girls has diarrhea. The hen with diarrhea and the one that has been laying soft eggs both went in the nesting boxes at the same time and came out at the same time; neither laid an egg. But then I saw this on the ground next to poop; not sure which one it was from, though I’m thinking it was from the one laying soft eggs as it was solid poop next to it.

Not sure what this is. When I cut it open the outside seemed like a soft eggshell. But the inside was more firm. Any thoughts? Do you think I need to deworm again with something different? Thank you for any advice in advance…

Layer feed from Fleet Farm. I do let them out for about an hour a day to free range as well when I can supervise them
