Width of poop board - which way are your chickens roosting ??

Thank you so much for all the info ! Every now and then I just get overwhelmed with all the decision for our coop

I am sure I am totally over thinking everything and in the end the chickens won't care

But now, my brand new coop has wonderful roosts set perfectly for the boot tray I use underneath as a droppings tray. I just have to take out the branches and put in 2x4s with the flat side up.

I've learned a lot in building the first one, and corrected many of my earlier mistakes. (Plus made a couple new ones.)
