Hi Oob Child! Don't worry, it is quite normal for Japanese Jumbo Quail to start laying between 8 and 9 weeks of age. Since your quail are almost 7 weeks old, it won't be long before they begin laying eggs. Just make sure they have a proper diet, including a balanced feed with enough protein.
