Got to 50 in Pueblo, CO today, breeze was minimal, finally had some dirt the chickens could dirt bathe in, unfortunately lots of snow left from last week and forecast says we are about to get more beginning late tomorrow. I just keep reminding myself how glad I'll be we got this moisture.

It was a sunny -13 today, chilly for a ride but I went anyway.
It’s -25 now, probably lower tonight and AGAIN I had to manually place the chooks on the “bedroom” roosts where there’s a little heat...I wrought better than I knew when I built a fake “tree” in the coop, it’s their favourite place to sleep but really not warm enough on nights this cold. Silly birds.
