Exactly , with a couple of spare ribs remaining for a snack .

I usually buy a big roast and have it cut into 1 1/2 to 2 inch steaks.

When I get home I vacuum seal them and put them in the freezer.

Could this recipe be cooked in the microwave?

I don't know, I've never fixed rice in the nuker (microwave). If you know a recipe that lets you cook rice in the microwave, then I'm sure this would work because the only thing not "cooked" in the recipe is the RICE.

I cook my rice in the microwave all the time

I set the microwave on 6 minutes and when finishes I take it out and stir, then put it back in for 2 to 3 minutes.

It comes out fluffy and tender.
