Today I had a heated discussion with my bantam hen. I'm not sure what it was about, but I know I convinced her of nothing. There was a lot of volume and very little accomplished. Reminded me of why I usually just let my rooster deal with her & her strong opinions on subjects unknown

It was another unseasonably warm and sunny day, so I took another half day off at work . I have a cat purring in my ear. I found a rosemary plant for my mother at the grocery store.

My coworker's spouse came over to install two ceiling fans for me!!!!

One is up so far, replacing a barely working one in the kitchen:

Now he's installing one in the small bedroom!

It's making me happy.
