My Broody hens first baby hatched last night.

We adopted out 17 dogs and 8 cats today at my work!

On the local news last night a shelter indicated they were so overcrowded that the adoption fee had been dropped to $25. They had 200+ cats and 120 dogs.

Our climate is quite good for trees. And its a perfect solution against heat stress.

But there is a downside to this climate too.. Our country is overcrowded with humans, pigs, cows, chickens and other livestock (huge farms). We worry about pollution and NOx. And of course burning fuels. Temps are already a few degrees higher as we had a few decades ago. And lots of people here have allergies and asthma. Because the air we live in is unhealthy. Many people get Parkinson’s disease bc of a combination of toxins. Not only from big industrial plants but also from the flower industry . The tulips and lily’s cause health problems bc it uses a lot of toxins. It’s proven it causes severe health problems for people who work in it and live nearby.

I’m a science g33k. Grew up with grandparents helping “turbo charge” my learning curiosity: geology, geography, topography, plate tech-tonics, meteorology…. Etal to a lesser degree.
Here in “North Texas” the same is true for the weather & seasonal changes over the last 25~odd years!

Are you serious?
There is nothing weird with growing tulips. Tulips grow on open land. The farmers just use a lot of chemicals to prevent sicknesses in the plants.
