The weather. We finally got a break from the heat! I was able to do my semiannual deep clean of the coop plus some yard work without fear of heat stroke.

This was followed by tonight’s entertainment; watching all the chickens try to fly directly from the edge of the pop door up to the roost. Because clearly I filled the coop with molten lava instead of fresh wood shavings, and they don’t want to get burned
