Yet more rain headed my way... I should be happy that the spigot hasn't turned off yet but it'd be nice if we could get a break for more than 2 or 3 days to dry out a bit. Guess I'll be spraying fruit trees tonight for fungus...

I finally got powdery mildew on my pea plants. Oh well.

I got more than 1/2 a gallon sized Ziploc bag full after shelling the peas.

Cut grass into dusk & I had to grab a coat & gloves. 49 degrees near end of May...really?

Anyway...thought I'd share a bit of garden humor. Can you just imagine enjoying your peaceful morning coffee, gazing out at the garden, and something is looking back at ya?

How do you know when to pick radishes?

While I was away DH made an automatic overhead waterer for 7 of my greenstalks. It's not quite finished yet but soon. Needs adjusting for flow & a couple more valves.

We can't grow rhubarb here in the Deep South. Too hot...

However when I went back up north last week, lots of family who were making rhubarb pies, etc... One made a comment that stores were selling rhubarb for 4 stalks @ $10!



That's insane....
