Squirrels don't bother my gardens too much, but they stole some eggs last year. I didn't get any blue egg for a while last early summer and didn't think about it because my ameraucanas are seasonal layers. One day I went to check the chickens and heard a squirrel screaming and running away. I found a blue egg at the ground where the squirrel ran off. My black ameraucana girl, Pepsi, was mad! I guess she attacked the egg theft. That squirrel never came back again.I can relate with this dude. Those little jerks went thru my starts on the table that I was hardening off & pulled them out of their pots! Dirt everywhere, such carnage for no reason. My garden beds are covered with hardware cloth right now while the seeds are germinating. & I use Repels-All. It mostly works, but they still get in there sometimes. I hate them. I don't know why they bother to come over here when the neighbors have seed out 24//7/365.
No clue. It's purple is all I know. LOL
