What did you do in the garden today?

I had the same tiles in my ex house but in the kitchen. they were italian.

Barn filled with livestock and closed up.
Hens all packed away.

I caught a vole in the mouse trap in the green house. I think that's critter #4.

It was 49 F in the green house, and 51 F under the totes where the pots are. Nothing has sprouted yet.

Can you explain how this works? Never heard of it before. How do you get rid of all the salt?

I took down the plastic bird netting around this bed and gave my chickens access for Christmas. The sweet potatoes have already rooted in the two water trenches and all the stuff I put in the 5-gallon worm bin has broken down, but there are no worms to be found in the bucket. I think it's too mushy for them to live in. Anyway, the comfrey plant next to the bucket is loving the compost and is growing wild.

Merry Christmas Eve to all who celebrate and have a great day to all who don’t celebrate. Super warm here for this time of year. I took the 3 grandkids and my son to the park so they could fish, ride bikes and shoot hoops. They didn’t catch anything but it got them out of the house for 2 hours.

Nothing going on in the garden but we did get some much needed rain the last couple of days.
