Been gone and just catching up . On tomato seed instead of fermenting try 50-50 vinegar and water . It takes the slime off the seed . I found this out out by accident on vegetable salad marinade .
On the wine cap mushrooms please share what you did initially to start you bed . I tried one years ago and failed .

Do you just wash the seed in that solution, or soak it for awhile? And do you get good viability? I know some people use hydrogen peroxide, but they soak the seed for a few hours.

A few hours soak or until the gel is off the seed . The acid ph of vinegar dissolves the slime . Germination is good .

I tested my water ph today and its ph is 8. Can anyone advise if I should add a cap of vinegar to my water for my citrus tree? I don't want it to turn yellow.

Maybe some pine mulch? Peat will make it acidic but only for a week.

I used a ph meter to check my ph level in my kumquat and it registered 2. I need it at about 6.
Can anyone tell me how to accomplish this?

In the kumquat soil, or in the kumquat fruit? If your pH meter read 2 in the soil, I think your meter is defective.

Installing more no climb wire in another portion of our pasture. Finished 200’ out of 800’ . The weather has finally cooled down in the northeast, so this is a pleasurable chore. Horses enjoy supervising and inspecting.
