Well I did it.

I ordered 3 mallard hens. They are arriving at my feed store on 7-3. I just realized how soon that is! They will be 2 days old and I will raise them in the dog pen until old enough to meet my boys. That will make 4 mallards for me. I cannot wait!!!

Congratulations! Only 3, you have alot more resistance than I. I started with 4 and will put in a bigger order next spring. Have to get these grown and get used to them. Maybe they will hatch out some more.

Well I promised hubby only 3. I have 3 males. So all total it will be 6. No more ducks or chickens unless hatched by us.

Well poo! They were supposed to come today and now I have to wait until Thursday.

Well, with 3 males, you will need more than 3 females. They will breed them to death. So, I guess the Hubby has to give in because you need about 12 more girls!

Oh no! Not until we get the fence fixed!! I don't want anymore of my babies get hit by cars. I just want them to quit trying to breed each other.
