Hello, Pond!

Had the local grandkids over for a sleepover last night. I will treasure these times as I know that if I blink, they’ll be gone.

Very true. They will actually dare to go off and have their own lives. Number 5 is a junior in college this year. The other 4 are graduated and working or in graduate school.

The goose egg didn’t do anything. I realized after going to bed the first night that the air cell was too big for the egg to be fresh. I did get to show my housemate the bullseye.

WHAT??? But… don’t they need our permission first? I mean, I have some time yet - the oldest is 8, so it won’t happen right away. Maybe there’s time to convince them that they need to ask before they go live their own lives.

Good morning pond. Blue skies here after a quite cloudy and stormy like day yesterday. The high is only 63 all day. So I guess long-sleeves it is. It's been warm enough to wear short sleeves. I can't stand our weather.

Good morning, Pond. Bungee cords on my lily pad - another 3" of rain plus wind gusts of 50 mph make for an unpleasant day. Statewide flood watch in effect - more coastal than here.
