It's crusty and cold on my lily pad, and there's a skiff of ice on the Pond. Have to check the Pond heater.

Also... turns out the bride will NOT be full black!

She found a bodice from around 1800 that she is thrilled about, and so will wear. And the bodice is hand woven with red threads one way and blue the other way. It has the original embroidered cream flowers, with some green and light blue.

I think her skirt will be black.

Whatever.

She is thrilled, my son is thrilled, so I am thrilled!

Well.. no more heat for my house...

Fuel oil heater stopped working.. kids haven't figured it out yet..

I bought a new wood stove... tried to swap them out today.... I need 3 more inches of stove pipe.

Humpf.

I refuse to use electric heat... too expensive...

Tomorrow we will get the woodstove running.
