Hey there yes we have rain here also.
We get to look out see if it's raining wear a raincoat and short rubber boots.

yep got my rain coat and rubber boots they stay by the back door to go out to the coop. Got a new tarp for our chicken run looks like just in time

Haven't been here in awhile. Anyway, sometimes I lose this thread. Had 5 hens killed this past Thursday in the run that we thought was secure. DH fixed the weak spot in the fencing that we think the coons or other critter got in. I am nursing an injured one who was still breathing when we found them Friday morning. She has wry neck, from being grabbed by the head and upper neck, from the evidence. Not much bleeding. Cannot stand, so she just lays on her side, sleeps a lot and gets spoon fed for now. Have had lots of good advice on another thread. She is slowly improving. Such trauma for them, and me.

My chicken waterer auto cups were frozen, so I was refilling the buckets with warmer water at 7:30 this morning. I need to mount those horizontal nipples I bought on a bucket today. Hope the girls figure out how to use them.

They will, if you remove all other water sources, then show them.
