Tufts of Muffs

I hatched this one chick from a friend. It’s an Olive Egger (RIR x EE) and I’ve noticed it has what look to be tufts. Are these tufts?!? She is so cute!

Yep, they're tufts!

I don't think she would actually be considered an "olive egger", because olive eggers are supposed to be crossed from a blue egg layer (like easter eggers or ameraucanas), and a dark brown egg layer (like maran). Rhode island reds are not considered a dark brown egg layer.
