To cull or not to cull

I have a young male (slightly over 7 weeks). He is living with 6 females, seemed to get along. This morning I found a female (one of his favorites) with her head bloody, the wound is almost a dime size. Should I cull the roo? Seems kinda brutal to damage a hen that badly when there's 6 girls for him. He's a silver tuxedo and there was blood splattered on his face and chest so it's definitely him attacking.

I'd isolate him at the very least. Overall, yes, it is best not to keep an overly-aggressive roo around.

Definitely don't want to continue that trait to offspring. Might need to separate the hurt female if the others pick at her head too.
