Tips for tattooing rabbits?

So, I just got my first rabbit tattoo outfit. I sprung for the inkinator, ordered from KW cages. I also got a bunny burrito to wrap the little ones up when I am marking them. It seems pretty straight forward. Slow, deliberate lines on the inside of the left ear.

Any one have any tips or tricks to getting this done? Also, anyone care to share their number system for their rabbits? Thank you in advance!

Bunny burrito. Wrap the rabbit up all the way besides the ear being tattooed and hold firm. If you have the numbing cream, use ot. It dies actually help. Also clean the ear with a cottonball with rubbing alcohal.

Yep. It's for identification, and pretty sure ARBA requires it for showing

Tattooing is done on animals for a variety of reasons. Usually for identification, like racing thoroughbreds get it done on their lip. One of my dogs has a tattoo on her belly to mark that she was spayed.
