Mine get meal worms daily too. It's a good supplement when starting their molt too.

I am very disappointed in the feed available around us.
I think the cat kibble on the side is good for a little protein boost when they are molting. Dog food used to get raided by my birds all the time! Had to start keeping the kibble in a steel garbage can like the chicken feed. Sharp beaks were destroying the paper bags in the garage. Birds are smarter than dogs . . .

My local feed store is slightly more expensive than Tractor Supply, but much much closer. Family owned and operated, and I'd much rather go to them, but they don't often carry what I need. I was talking about getting feed for the ducks with them one day, and they said they could do a custom order for me. Then they said I'd have to order a whole pallet of feed. That's not in my budget... They do have game bird feed, but nothing specifically for ducks.

So the incubator is down to 7 eggs. 1 I'm pretty sure is dead, but it doesn't stink so I'm letting it stay for now. 6 of them though I can see movement in!

@rjohns39 how can you tell when the chicks internally pip?

Patti, I haven't given up. I just haven't had time... Work has been grueling this week.

Yes, but you've got a ways to go yet. First indication of internal pip is chirping, but once the air cell draws down, you'll be able to see the beak in the air cell.
