The Old Folks Home

Good morning Old Folks. I too over did it yesterday so I'm resting until my better half gets home in a couple of hours then I have to get some seed in the ground where I tilled yesterday. After today we may be faced with several days of wet weather and not be able to be in the garden until it dries out some. Fighting the calendar... We have been alerted to possible severe weather even for today. Hail, wind, damaging winds, and possible tornadoes. I think we are on the very fringe of where the worst weather is going to be.

I did chemo this morning.

It's Dd #1's birthday. Her sister came over, and baked her birthday cake. I got home in time to clean the kitchen. Sheesh! At least she didn't make a big mess, so it wasn't hard to clean. She would have cleaned up after herself, but she's not familiar with this kitchen, it's nuances, and where things go. (A nuance like, where are your silverware baskets in the dishwasher? It has a 3rd. rack just for silverware.)
I often get to clean up the last of the cooking mess from others cooking. They d some of it and it is not too much of a mess.

Yesterday, Hubby's boss at work gave him something that had been his grandmother's. It was a Brownie camera! I'd never seen one before. He's wondering if he can cut down a sheet of 4x5 film to fit, just for the experience of using it.

Also yesterday, his order of darkroom stuff arrived. And a box of Ilford 4x5 B&W film. 25 sheets, $56. He's excited about making the darkroom usable, and getting out his 4x5 camera again.

Stay safe!

That is a classic!

Are there any clubs around for the old classic cameras!
