The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

We had sunshine yesterday, and it was glorious. I'll be okay with overcast skies as long as it doesn't rain. It looks like it might start raining again tomorrow.
I might as well have my own grumpy golf course manager. He wants this yard to look like a golf green and we have the same problem. Standing water, rain, and ruts from draining water.
We hit 95F yesterday. Today I need to change two nozzles in he misting line.

We will get close to 100F next Thursday.

Finally caught with most of the goings on here. With a high of only 80° today I should get a lot done planting. I'm on my on out there doing it until after my Ms. doctors appointment Monday. Here bone scan wasn't good and we don't know just how bad it was. I don't want to take a chance on her falling and breaking bones out on the rough ground between here and the garden plots. We have 4 garden plots as the ground has terraces and such to control and retain water in dry spells. I don't know what was grown here as this was a farm in decades past. I intend to get a full day of manual labor in as I really enjoy putting seed in the ground and watching the crops grow.

Wishing everyone a great day in the sunshine. Our next weather system is coming possibly Monday and Tuesday has more thunderstorms on tap.
I hope the appointment goes well!
