They are catching 6-10lb walleye in Lake Erie trolling with downriggers. Many charter boats out in the lake now. They are at 70-75 ft down. Some trout and steelhead also.

Holy cow. We would throw Walleye that big back in the lake.

Hi all. This 4 day weekend went fast. I cleaned at my sons for a few hours today. Son is burning the candle at both ends right now so we are trying to help him out. His girlfriend was even there helping us yesterday. I really like her. Son and hubby are on the way to get him a new water heater. I was boiling water on the stove to clean with. The water is so hard it wrecked the pan I was using. There is no water softener. I’m going to check in town tomorrow to see if he can rent one for awhile.
