I know, worries me too. She got the chicks last Sept then disappeared. Came back in January (YAY!!), with her kidney problems (BOO!!) described, then got a puppy and disappeared again. I fear for her health and that of her family. I can try calling.Hey Bruce, have you heard from Blooie? Somethings going on her way...hasn't been on here in a long time!
That sucks, your day job was a nightmare this week, don't need bad night time dreams too.I had a nightmare so I couldn’t go back to sleep. I’ve been up since 3:15.
Knock on wood I've managed to not get the real tractor stuck; close a couple of times though. I've gotten my garden tractor stuck but was always able to get it out but one time it took the winch on the front (which is currently broken), a T-post and a hand sledge. Now, if I could just stop getting the tractor stuck in the mud, everything will be golden.
ASSUMING they've opened the provincial borders by then! DD1 was stuck in New Brunswick the last 2 weeks, was supposed to be on PEI. But the house lease for her 3 roommates and her starts today so PRESUMABLY they are driving or have driven from the AirBnB in Petit-Cap back to Sackville.I'll be driving to British Columbia at the end of the month to pick up some chantecler chicks
Fingers crossed that she's able to get back.ASSUMING they've opened the provincial borders by then! DD1 was stuck in New Brunswick the last 2 weeks, was supposed to be on PEI. i see, but don't they have the dark chanteciers too?, i can understand you not wanting the silver in themThe breed is pure white, so the chicks should be completely yellow.

I will be standing in line to get into Costco this afternoonHi all. Standing in line to get in to the butcher shop.
Good afternoon Michelle, have a great dayGood morning everyone!
Spring has sprung for sure here. The trees are just starting to bud and the grass is just starting to green up. Now, if I could just stop getting the tractor stuck in the mud, everything will be golden.
My first hatch of the season should be starting today I sold some hatching eggs, and people are reporting that some of their chantecler chicks have silver on their backs. Not good. I've got orders for about 100 chicks, so I think I'm going to have to put a lot more in the incubator. I'll be driving to British Columbia at the end of the month to pick up some chantecler chicks, in order to get some new blood in my line. I'll also be getting some brabanters! I can't wait!
I hope that everyone is doing well, and staying safe.
There are partridge and buff, but I don't have either of those (although I've got partridge in the bator right now).i see, but don't they have the dark chanteciers too?, i can understand you not wanting the silver in them
for some strange reason i thought they were real dark, like a buckeye. i didn't even think about white for some reasonThere are partridge and buff, but I don't have either of those (although I've got partridge in the bator right now).
