I went up to the attic to change the whole house fan from a manual switch to a wireless setup with a timer. I was surprised to see rat droppings up there! It was clear last summer so they moved in for the Winter. They may have move on, or died from poison in the neighborhood but i did put some bait up there.

They must be roof rats!

I'd never go into the attic again.

I had the chance to go with DH to eastern KY today, it was a fun day. Saw a lot of scenery we hadn't seen yet (including part of the Daniel Boone National Forest and a smidgen of the Appalachians) and we had a wonderful lunch.

That must have been too much excitement for me, I'm pooped
