These are a Texas strain Jumbo Pharoah Quail breeding males
Some have suggested on a BYC thread (see link below) that size can increase with a cross with another line. We are offering up to eight of our breeding males to the highest bidder. This is a great opportunity to introduce a different bloodline into your Jumbo Pharoah Quail. We will consider trading for eight females of a non-related line.
We aquired our hatching eggs from an ebay seller. The breeder was B. Alvey of Dublin TX. We won 52 eggs. 64 was shipped. 38 hatched, with 32 survived at present. 16 males, 16 females. Expecting eggs any day, we hope. We have not weighed them, but these are much larger than the regular Pharoah quail we have raised.
NO FEMALES AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME!
We will ship: buyer must supply the shipping box, USPS approved and buyer pays all shipping cost including transportation to the appropriate postal facility.
We can deliver to the Pine Bluff, Arkansas Poultry Show, April 17 or the Little Rock Spring Livestock Poultry Show May 1. Otherwise, pick up in Monticello, Arkansas.
This is day old:
