Now if I could just figure out how to get the alerts to drop off of the list like they used to after I read them.

It's weird that it's happening to some and not others.

I'm on Chrome and never having any issues with alerts not going away.

In the thread about this, we need to isolate the variables of when it is / isn't happening (browsers, users, etc. etc. etc.)

They aren't immediately going away on my ancient Firefox browser. There are currently 25 of them. They immediately become read as soon as I click on them. The number disappears too. The list of unread disappears at some point and starts over the next day or so it seems to me.

Can y'all put these comments / specifics in the other thread (or a new thread) for this specific issue so we can isolate it?

(for example, sounds like it's specific just to article notifications for everyone)?
