Hi all,
I recently noticed this on one of my 1yr old hybrid hens. I am worried it may be bumble foot, although I can not find any sign of a black scab. There is no sign of any problems on her other foot either. I do not see any swelling on the bottom of the foot either. She had been limping for a 7 days about a week ago, and then stopped. She is currently not limping.
She has been fed an unusualy high level of calcium the past week.

But most important, if it is not bumble foot, what is it? Gout? Does anyone have any ideas?

Yes, it looks like bumblefoot.
The small scab on the footpad may heal on it's own, but since the one between the toes is swollen, I'd address that. Do look in the little crease (arrow pointing) to see if there's a cut or scab there too. It may just be debris.
I'd try a non-surgical treatment first.

For others in the future:
There ended up being no scab on the underside of the foot. I ended up waiting about 2wks for any developments. Eventually, a scab at the the front of the bump appeared. it looked red at first, then it changed to yellow, like a pimple, almost.
I cut that off and proceded with the procedure, and it went well.
Thanks all!
