Sweet PDZ in run?

I bought Sweet PDZ and added to my run yesterday because we had to remove the Bermuda hay. I'm allergic to dust, etc. and spent a week in the hospital with an asthma attack. I probably will try aubriose as well. My run was super duper muddy from our Georgia rains and my chickens had mud caked on their feet. Needless to say, we cleaned the coop and run and so far happy with the PDZ. At first, they were picking and eating....but I got them interested in some scratch. I researched Sweet PDZ prior to using it. It's safe for my girls and rooster.

I do have a question about rooster behavior (I'm a newbie) biting my Wyandotte by the neck. He has done this twice. She's screaming. My husband said the rooster was trying to have sex.... she's maybe one week older than the rooster. I have seen him tidbitting around her a few times in the last week. Should I buy her and my girls a back apron?? He has grabbed her neck and seems to be pinching her. Lol....all my other girls run❣️🐓
