I'm building my 15'x8' run for my chicks. It's covered with a sloped roof. It's being built with pressure treated 2x4's. The hardware cloth I was able to get is 3' wide. From a load standpoint, can I place my vertical studs at 36", to staple my hardware cloth, or do they need to be closer? We don't get a ton of snow in Virginia, but we can get some pretty big snowstorms on occasion. A friend, who builds houses, said I need the studs placed closer to handle a heavy snow load, but I don't think that applies in this case. If it matters, the roof is made of lightweight corrugated plastic panels. Any thoughts?
